The writing coaching session is a 45-minute individual consultation with our experienced coach (apl.) Prof. Dr. Peter Braun from the Writing Center at the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena.
The program is open to all doctoral candidates and PostDocs of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Designed for the writing process, the focus lies on giving counselling on academic writing for doctoral candidates of all disciplines. The coaching will target comprehensible structure and argumentation of a paper, the methodical approach, the writing process, the structuring of work and time, and much more that is part of writing.
Please note: Registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability of funds. A maximum of 5 appointments per person per year may be claimed.
Individual appointments can either take place online via (BigBlueButton) or in presence in Jena.
Depending on your needs, the writing consultation can be conducted in German or English.
Registrations for coaching are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.
For the writing consultation, appointments are usually available on Wednesdays between 2 and 6 p.m.
Once you have registered, we will offer you an individual appointment with our coach. Since these are fixed slots reserved exclusively for individual doctoral candidates & PostDocs, we require written notification of cancellations by e-mail to the BRS: research-school[at]uni-weimar.de.
Timeframe: lecture period in the winter semester 2023/2024 (09.10.2023 - 02.02.2024) depending on the availability of the coach.
